We went to see Past Lives which was SUCH a special movie - I can’t stop thinking about it. The cinema is so cute - love the quaintness of a small movie theatre. Comfortable seats & great facilities. The bar is also super cute & sexy - such cool interior design & they make excellent cocktails. The Dirty Martini & Mai Tai were great, as was the Bitters Lime & Lemon. The bar menu is super too. Overall such a cool place to go. The bar staff are next level, I was admiring the cocktails & said I needed to take a photo of them. Next thing, they enhanced my photo by posing gorgeously in the background - how very lovely of them?!!! 😆🤩😆 Seriously though, they’re a great bunch, & there’s also a DJ set up too, so give them a visit!

Such a classy bar with a great atmosphere. Bar staff are nice aswell and make great drinks. The theatre itself is pretty neat and shows some under appreciated films. Keen to visit again!

Been to Golden Age many times and visited last Saturday night. Great drinks as always but the most blase customer service I've seen in a long time. 4 staff behind the bar and no one in the whole venue except for 2 people at the bar, yet the staff barely bothered to say hello, no effort to make us feel welcome and when we left, not even an acknowledgement or wave.
Hoping the manager sees this and reminds your staff that being hospitable and welcoming is always a requirement, even when the bar is quiet. I lead bar tours and I'm now reluctant to visit or recommend Golden Age to my guests.
UPDATE: Thanks for the reply Golden Age - I do hope the team gets the message as it is a beautiful bar and location. I'll drop by for another visit at some point and look forward to being able to improve my review.
Staff were friendly, but disorganised. A cleaner front desk/bar would have also been nicer. Otherwise great.
Great little underground bar opposite Longrain with really friend servers and a good wine / cocktail list. Would highly recommend to check out for a movie or just a drink. Only gripe is the lack of seating.. once there's 7-8 groups of 2-3 people there is no seating left in the venue but everything else is great
